After attempting to execute our film in a very humbling experience we figured out we bit off more than we could chew. The first cut turned out disaapointing for and due to a multitude of factors. The animation was impressive, however we realised it would take too long and drain Varisha's soul out - which we do not want of course.
Therefore, after mourning it very briefly (so sigma nonchalant baddies) we decided to change around our idea to something more engaging and excecutable. Varisha and I had always joked around about switching to comedy and this provided us the chance to do just that. Instead of an animantion-drama blend, we switched to a comedy-drama; a dramedy.

Now for the plot we did more thinking of course. Many thoughts were thunk. Including Varisha's "we shouldve just done music video-" and my constant denial because I know we could never decide on a song to begin with.
Idea 1:
MC gets invited home by a weird friend. They enter to find themselves suddenly in a sitcom with a cliche family dynamic. MC gets thrown off by the constant laughing tracks and lingo while the friend and his family look at him like there is nothing wrong.
Idea 2:
Mix of comedy and mystery. Based on a very cliche wife and husband 1950s comedy dynamic. Husband gets home basic comedy comedy with wife put some things are off putting, some things the wife says, music stops you get the idea. The wife acts very stiff like a doll. In the end its revealed that the whole scenario is the husband's imagination and he is currently being held in a phyc ward. Husband had killed his wife and went crazy. Doctors check off on his lobotomy
Idea 3:
The first two were Varisha's fruitful brainstorming. Interesting, yes. But after our experience already I was very cautious about making it within our reach to produce and execute. So I got to pondering and ponder I did, before going to Jetho Gibbs my beloved again (Varisha: I dont even know what he is to you anymore) I got the idea for a therapist comedy. Varisha suggested to make the therapist an eccentric for the humor and so we got idea 3. An eccentric therapist and a miserable client baffled by his strange methods and musings.
We finalised idea 3 and I wrote a synopsis for our plot:
Sam suffers an existential crisis about the unpredictability of life. In an effort to cope, she finds an ad for a therapist. He looks quirky an odd vibe about him, but she decides to go for it anyway. Cut to her entering the therapist’s office. He’s there as weird as expected. Dressed and speaking eccentrically. Sam hesitantly still gives it a try. As the session goes on, the therapist’s remarks and exercises keep getting sillier - frustrating Sam who was looking for a serious session to find answers. The exercises grow to a height of absurdity, making Sam snap before the therapist blurts out an epiphany and everything locks into place for Sam. She’s overcome with shock about the newfound realisation and the surprise of the weird therapist actually being helpful. The therapist breaks the fourth wall to tell the audience of a job well done and the film ends there with a looney toons circle out transition.
