Social Media & Postcard Inspo/Plan

We sought heavy inspiration from these fellow pro-am short films' Instagram accounts for our own.

We particularly liked the Coming Soon post idea to create audience anticipation and the logo banners to create hype for our film as well as introduce our studio to the audience as brand engagement and development. So we decided to post our logo banner, following our colour themes on our own Instagram account. We also decided to follow through on the coming soon banner idea.

Initial Posts

For our initial posts as planned, Varisha and I needed a Coming Soon banner post. The screenshots below show our discussion on it.

We decided to follow through with Varisha's idea as per the picture she shared with me

We decided that I will take a picture of my eye and Varisha will draw in the shadow man.

The Second Post

Our studio logo banner, which we posted as a grid of three.

This is the format we agreed upon:

We wanted to start with a coming soon banner to create audience anticipation. After that the film studio's banner would be put up followed by screen caps from the film as banners. The introduction video will be a short director interview plus a behind the scenes footage.

After this, we will post our postcard and then our mechandise.

Postcard Inspirations
